SS24 - "21:16-3-1"

"Among all the young brands on the Berlin fashion scene, SF1OG is consistently one that’s worth seeing. Rosa Marga Dahl has made a name for herself with styles that combine in a very modern way her two biggest sources of inspiration: the past and sustainability. Not only does she use deadstock at her atelier, small flaws and imperfections in old fabrics are put in the spotlight here.

The new collection takes its references from the world of equestrian sports, but the muddy riding boots and leather horse whip didn’t diminish the lightness of the vintage lace, light bralettes, and loose shorts on her runway. Less suitable for riding, but quite desirable were the show’s low-waist silhouettes. This was the label’s strongest outing yet, which had much less due to the live piano performance than how impressively authentic the SF1OG formula is. Ingenuity—in sustainability, design, and communication." - Vogue Runway
